The New Zealand Patriotic Society fully realises that to make the Carnival Queen Election an assured success, it will be necessary to have the support of the whole oi the Wellington Province. This they feel eure will be forthcoming when the residents throughout the Province recognise liow the funds are to be utilised. If those bodies invited gave the Society the support asked for the Society's organiser will immediately wait upon the executive, and address and place before them all necessary information for the successful running of the Carnival Queen v Election. The Society hopes that the ladies who will be aproached to allow themselves to be nominated will readily consent. Besides helping to allow the election to commence immediately it wil Isurely be an. honour for any lady*£o be nominated for so great a cause, i.e. that of establishing a base hospital at Trent ham Encampment, and to provide a' fund for the assistance of our New Zealand soldiers and sailors who are incapacitated while on active service, and for the support of the dependents of those who have sacrificed their lives in defence of the Empire Nominations close -with the Society's secretary, Mr Joe.
