Messrs xMigety and Company Limited repor having held their Upper Hutt sale on Thursday 27th April, wnen a good yarding 0 f both sheep 'and cattle came forward. Bidding 'throughout the sale was dull and a "number of lines iailed to reach owners'" reserves. I'ne principal sales effected were:' Good woolly hoggets 12s, small 2-tooth wethers los, 4 and 5 year old ew;es 12s 3d, light weight fat cows £5 10b % ,£5 15a Good fat cow* £6 15s to £7J heary .weight fat heifers £7 lOfe, £3 18s to £4 2s, weaner heifers £1 sm, springing cows £7 to £11 i"g heilers £6 5s to £7. :''' LEVIN STOCK SALE!."'. At the Levin sale on 30th ultimo, Dalgcty and Company offered an exeeptionalljy hoary yarding fof both sheep and cattle, the pens being taxed to the utmost. For fat sfieep the demand was fair but store sheep were dull of sale, and prices considerably easier than they have been for the past lour weeks.. A heavy jyardttng- of cattle net fair competition, any steers meeting with a ready sale. Female cattle, especially low conditioned sorts', were not in demand, and the bulk of this class of stock went out unsold. rhe Principal sales are as under:—Good condition 2 and 4-tooth wethers- 20s 6d, medium , 2-tooth wethers 10s to 16s Bd, forward I ewes 10s. medium woolly lambs 12*.3d, | medium shorn lambs Bs' to 8s 4d, "light weight fat. lreanera 2fe lid to 21a Id, light weight fat ewes 20».
