REPRESENTATION WANTED.
A public meeting held at Port Moresby resolved to demand to have tho constitution altered*to admit elective representative members to be elected by the people instead of appointed by the Governor in July and that the rights immediately be granted to white settlers in the criminal <md civil jurisdiction.
The .Government's attitude towards whites and natives is a mistake and it is considered that the grow7ng disrespect of the natives towards the whites and contempt for tho administration ltd to the recent murders.
