LAYING DOWN A LAWN. Special mixtures for laying down lawns may also be nad from any seedsman. 801110 of our native poas and other grasses would mswer admirably lor lawn purposes. If the ground is of a retentive nature, sowing the seeds should be deferred till August. Commence to cut as soon is the machine will act. Some prcer the scythe for the first time of Mitting. 801 l previous to mowing; ,his will save the knives of the mower.
