Palmerston at 12.16 a.m. [ As previously mentioned, there are several wayside stations at which one or more of the above trains will stop whenever passengers desire to be taken down or set up. Local residents lay ascertain which are the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out the time which the train will take to travel from the station °mmediately preceding.
