The following paragraphs are Ironi the Otaki Mail:— Mr T. O'Rourke yesterday returned to. Otaki, after a pleasent, but brief sojourn, spent at Te Aroha. Mr and Mre J. Howard Andrew, of Manakau, left yeeterday morning for Napier, where they will spend a fortnight's holiday. Constable »Sathorley returned last night from Wellington, after a consultation with Dr Harty, the wellknown specialist. He Uas been advised to hare a six-weeks' rest. Mr X. Chamberlain, ot the local branch of the BanK of Australasia, leaves Otaki on Tuesday next, in order to enter the Trentham cainp, he having been accepted for service abroad. Jlt Chamlerlain'e position at the local hank will bo filled hy Mr fiedditoh of Wellington. Mr Douglas Walkley, nephew of Mr r. ]'. Walkle.v, of Paraparaumu, is at present among the unfortunate Britishers interned in Holland. The young man in question is a member of the Hoy :i I Naval Volunteers, and was among the naval men who. when endeavouring to assist tTio Britishers in .Antwerp, found themselves on Dutch soil, and were interned. —i
