Owing to the Biirn.side freezing works being closed till the 10th inst. freezing buyers were not operating, but the yarditig was not in excess of rcquirments, and competition was keen. Kirst quality sheep sold ivoll at a slight advance on laist week's rates, ami medium and inferior sorts were practically on a par with late values. Best ivothor.s L'ls (i<l to 26k fid. extra to 3()s <ml. medium 21s to 235. others l&s to 19s <sd. lie.st ewes 22s 6d to ■ 24*5 Od. extra heavy to 30s others 15s to 19s Bd. Fat Lambs. -403 penned. Export buyers were not in the market, an<l in consequence bidding wan confined to graziers and lmtehers. Prices showed a decline on last week's rates. Rest 18s to 10s extra to 225. medium to good l'w to 17s. Pigs.—There was email yarding 'if fats, and as. a consequence prices wen slightly in advance of last week rates. Stores were again far in excess of requirements, and Tvero very hard to sell even at much reduced prices.
