Local residents lay ascertain which are the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out the time which the train will take to travel from the station mmediately preceding. IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. 1m mu Ist December an express train at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who go urth by this train will have to p*y the l'u 11 fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the jxpress stops at. At 1.10 a.m., daily, the express 'ill stop at Levin to pick- up passengers but as uo tickets are issued for either of tbeso trains at Levin, passengers must pay the guards.- Passengers by this early morning train going south will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to "Wellington.
