Levin Co-operative Dairy Co

•» CHEESE OR BUTTER? On ThurstTy~inorning in the Century Hall at 11 o'clock the directors of the Levin Co-operative Dairy Company met in informal meeting the shareholders and suppliers for the purpose of discussing the question of installing a cheese manufacturing plant. Mr J. Prouse presided. The figures bearing on the question and submitted to the meoting were discussed at length and after giving full consideration to the whole matter, it was decided, on a vote of those present, to continue the manufacture of butter, it being considered by the meeting that the figures submitted did not warrant the outlay in the necessary extra plant ami buildings. Should the suppliers express a wish to do so the question will be discussed again at some future date..
