Mr Monaghan escaped with severe bruises, but his mother had her right arm broken at the wrist and sustained concussion of the brain and other injuries that were severe though not dangerous. Mrs Kimmener. of Stratford, died in the hospital on Tuesday as a resmlt of burns caused through falling into a fireplace one week before. She was aged 7-5 yeans.
