The excellent management which characterised the two preceding days' play was again in evidence and contributed largely to the success ot tlie tuiirnainent. Final.—Mackenzie and Holdaway beat AVhetu and .Mliviw 6-1 G—2. Ladies' Cliainpionsliip Doubles. Kinnh—Mies Hodge and Mrs Davis beat Miss Cork and Miss Hitching 0-0. o—o. (Combinod Championship Doubles. Final. —Miss Hodge and Siincox bent Mrs Davis and Tiikerei G__3. Only one final—the combined handicap doubles remains to be played: as the competitors are local players it will Im> played off probably during Yhe week. At the conclusion ~f the play Mr D. S. Mackenzie announced that the tournament had been such a success that it was decided t<! hold another one next year at Olnki. Tlie competitors from Otaki were successfu.l in securing six prizes and Levin three. The officials and committee had worked well to make the tournament a success, and the caterer (Mr Wooller) had also done his best and rontributed to the success. Mr H. Andrew, on behalf of the visitors, returned thanks to the committee for all it had done tor them. Such tournaments would increase the interest in the game.
