The first "ladies' night" of the seaion was held in the Druids' Hall \i.st ;vening. There was a fair attendance incl «11 present hail a good time. Music for the dances was played by Mrs Fairs, and Mr F. Nation and Miss D. Nation sang two duets. Messrs 14 .Jiidd and J. Young acted as M.'sC. A first-class supper was provided for those present I Excursion fares on the railway hare started—why not go to Palmerston and shop at Collinnon and Cunninghame's big storeP The new millinery is here.
