The Easter Services.
St. Mary's Anglican Church was prettily decorated for Easter Sunday by Mesdanies Duckworth, (Sapper, Stealey, Misses Eyes. Hitchings. Malcolm and McNicklu. The Easter services began with a celebration of the Holy Comunion at 8 o'clock. This was followed by a second celebration at 11 o'clock, when the Church was literally packed. Extra forms and chairs occupied every available space. The vicar preached from 1 Cor. xv. 57. "Thanks he to God who Giveth iih the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord " The number of communicants this yaw far excoeds those present on any other occasion in the history of St. Mary's Ohurcli. Evensong was sung at 7 o'clock and the Church was comfortably seated. The vicar took as his text Coloss. ITT. 1. "If ye then be risen with Christ seek those things which are above." MnnjfMlpwaMa^r
