'50 p.m. - The Auckland express leaves Thorndon at 1.10 p.m., and reaches Palmerston at 4.18 p.m. The Second Auckland express leaves Palruarston at 3.1 a.m. and arrives at Wellington at 6.26 a.m. The second Auckland Express leaves Wellington at 9.10 p.m. and arrvies at Levin at 11.30 p.m. Palmerston at 12.16 a.m. As previously mentioned, there are several wayside. stations at which one or more of the above trains will stop whenever passengers desire to be taken down or set up. Local residents ray ascertain which aje the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out the time which the train will take to travel from the station "m----mediately preceding. IMPOItTANT TO TRAVELLERS. From Ist December an express train stops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who go orth. by this train will have to pay the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the oxpress stops at. ! At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express .'ill i stop at Levin to pick up passengers but as no tickets are issued for either ! of those trains at 1/ovm, passengers ; must pay the guards. Passengers by this early morning train going south I will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to Wellington.
