A not credit of £sti was realised from tin; two concerts given in aid of the Uelgium belief Fund and the school asphalting fund by the children of Levin public school. The teaching staff and the school oorfmiittee who cooperated so well to train the children and direct the concert, as well as carry out tke preliminaries, are deserving of hearty congratulations. Those who remember the enjoyable evenings spent at the Druids' Hall on the occasions of "ladies' nights" last season, wil lbe glad to hear tKat the Druids intend to hold Them again this season. The filial ladies' night opening the new season will be held on Easter Monday night in the Druids' Hall. The electoral roll of the Borongh of Levin has been printed, and is now open for inspection at the Municipal Chambers, Levin Public Library, the Levin Post Office and the office of the Horowhenua Daily Ohronicle. The roll contains 935 names. Any qualified resident of the borough whose name is not in the list will be placed on the supplementary roll if application be made to the Town dork on or before Wednesday, 14th April.
