The water lilies in tlie pond appear to be doing well, while the tree lucerne and outside hedges are growing finely and in a year or so will afford splendid shelter. Mr Justice Stringer has awarded £60 with medical expenses and costs, in the case of J. W. Presling v. Poplar Flaxmilling Company. Plaintiff was also granted a suspensory award in regard to future possible developments of his injuries, and was awarded compensation at the rate of one penny a week, to continue until such payments ivere ended or increased in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
