New Churchroom For Weraroa.

A meeting of the Anglican Churchroom building committee was held on \N ednesday evening in the Association rooms, Weraroa. The following were present—Rev. H. T. Stealey (chairman, ex officio), Messrs J. Howell, D. McKain, F. G. Roe, W. W. femithson. As it had been recently intimated that the rooms will shortly not be available for Sunday School and services, it was decided to """ proceed with the erection of the Anglican Clinrchroom at once.*" The committee has some £'165 dejiosited in the Post Offiee Savings Bank, and the Levin vestry owes £1-1. In addition to this there are donations which have been promised. The question of suitable site was discussed- -three had been offered. After fully discussing each, Mr Mclvaiu moved that the seclion (nearly half an acre 111 extent) adjoining Mr Storey's factory be purchased for £60. This was seconded by Mr Howell and carried unanimously. r The question of fencing was next entered into and Mr Howell undertook to ' report to the next meeting (April 14th) the cost of same- The Rev. H. T. Stealey was asked to procure plans froin * Mr Clere diocesan architect, Wellington, to submit to the same meeting. For the present the land is to be vested in the names of Mr F. G. Roe and tile Rov. H. T. Steale.v as trustees.
