GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT
\V. Bull and Go. report:—
Last week's quotations are in most instances holding good. According to a report l'rom the south oats have declined slightly in price but the drop is not confirmed generally. Algerian seed oats are still at a premium, and
farmers generally are standing off purchasing unless bound to. All galvanised matorial has advanced considerably and high values are therefore assured in these lines. Rangittikei fanners seem inclined to hold their .stocks of chaff, and there is little being sold in that district. We quote:— Feed barley Gs 3d, seed barley 6s 6d, crushed maize 7s 2d, pollard 20s, bran 1 Is, Garton oats ss, flour 19s, galvanised wire 10s cwt, Gates' sheep drench 21s case, sugar 12s 6d, Sutton's seeds a.s per list, ryegrass 7s, Italian ryegrass 7s Od, tea 7s 9d and 6d per box.
