LADIES' CROQUET GLUB

A fair attendance of ladies was present at the meeting held yesterday afternoon in the schoolroom for <li<? organisation oi the Levin Ladies' Croquet Club and the election of officers. -Mrs C. H. Pyku, was elected to the chair. The following officers were elected: President, Alls C. H. Pyke ; viee-presi dents. Alesdames Kirk, Lodge, Roe; general management committee: Aleslames J. Alclntyre, H. Hall, J. Ryder, G. I'. Brown. AV. l'ark, H. Lodge. F. Roe, G. K. Douglas. P. Bartholomew and ,J. Alatcohn. Afternoon tea committee: Alesdames Kirk .''nrteous, Clark, Vincent, Aliases Gardiner and Duff. •. Airs Kirk was elected leader of the cluUr * Ali'.s -JS. Al. Her rick was chosen secretary. It was decided that honorary in .Millers provide a plate on the occasions when there are visitors. The subscription was iixed at J'Js per year commencing next season.
