Local residents my ascertain which are the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out the time whioh the train will take to travel from the station 'mmediately preceding.
IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS, ii om Ist December an express train stops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who go ortli by this train will have to p»y the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the express stops at. At 4.10 a.m. daily, the express 'ill stop at Lex* in to pick up passengere but as uo tickets are issued for either of these trains at Levin, passengers must pay the guards. Passengers Dy this early morning train going Bouth will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to Wellington.
