Palncerston — 7.18 a.m., 12.13 p.m., 2.2 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 5.0 p.m. Saturdays only 9.30 p.m. Shannon.—B.lß a.m., 1.30 p.m., 2.43 p.m., 4.12 p.m., 6.6 p.m. Saturdays only 10.34 p.m. Levin 8.49 a.m., 2.12 p.m., 36, p.m., 4.36 p.m., 6 42 p.ti-, 1130. Otaki. —9.32 a.m., 3.50 p.m., 5.6. p.m., 7.43 p.m., S:' Jgp&ys only 1.15 a.m. I Paekakariki.—lo.39 a.m. 4.55 p.m., 4.27 p.m. 5.50 p.m. 8.55 p.m. Saturdays only 2.30 a.m. Wellington.— 12.14. p.m., 8.5 p.m. 5.50 p.m., 7.8 p.m. 10.45 p.m., Saturdays only 4. 25 a.m. Some of the above trains will stop at intermediate stations, suck as Tokomaru, Ohau, Manakau, Te Horo, etc., but there are some which do not. Residents should acquaint themselves with the trains which do stop at their par- | ticuiar stations.

J Thorndou.—B.2o a.m., 9.8 a.m., 9.28 a.m., 4.13 p.m., 9.10 p.m. Paekakariki.— <j-40 a.m., 9.43 a.m., 10,20 a.m., 11.27 a.m., 5.58 p.m. Otaki 7.50 a.m. 10.25 a.m., i.l ll a.m., 12.47 p.m., 6.53 p.m. Levin.—B.so a.m., 10.55 a.m., 11.41 a.m., 1.29 p.m., 7.36 p.m. Shannon.—9.3o a.m., 11.18 a.m. 12.3 p.m., 2.4 p.m. 8.6. p.m. Palmerston (arrive).—lo.4o a.m., 11.59 a.m., 12.41 p.m., 3.10 p.m., 4.0 p.ni The Auckland express reaches Palmerston from the North at 11.28 a.m. an darrivee at Thorudon at 2. 50 p.m. The Auckland express leaves Thorndon at 1.10 p.m., and reaches Palmerston at 4.18 p.m. The Second Auckland express leaves Palmerston at 3.1 a.m. and arrives at Wellington at 6.26 a.m. The second Auckland Express leaves Wellington at 9.10 p.m. and arrvies at Levin at 11.30 p.m. •"* Palmerston at 12.16 a.m. f As previously mentioned, l.here we several wayside stations at which, one or' more of the above trains v?i'l stop whenever passengeiß desire to be taken down or set up. Local residents lay ascertain which are the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out the time which the train will
take to travel from the station *mi mediately preceding. IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. From Ist December an express train stops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, bat those who £0 orth by this train will have to pay the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the oxpress stops at. At 4-10 a.m., daily, the express 'ill stop at Levin to pick up passengers but as no tickets are issued for either of these trains at Levin, passengers must pay the guards, i'assengers by this early morning train going south will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to Wellington.
