(Notes by "Kitty." Bowling seems to have gained new life in Levin, as the enthusiasm displayed on tlfe green last Wednesday was very marked. It is hoped this keenness has come to stay, as it is sure to add to the new members' list. Another pairs tournament has been arranged for Wednesday next, when no doubt the games will be Eo£h keen, ly contested and thoroughly enjoyed. The green at present is in excellent order and reflects great credit both t-o tho club and the greenkeeper. No doubt the final of last Wed i ,s----day's tournoy to be played between Pyke and Eocleton versus La ting and Currie will produce a close gime. Levin club has challenged for theGold Stars now held by PaioievM-on North, and this match *.s dua to Ire played shortly, and there is no reason why these trophies should not fir.d their way here. The club also has a challenge in for the Dix m Cup, won from Foxton by Tarraj© End Club. P; Imerston North. A start will be made next Wednesday at 2 o'clock so as to erable the final to be played the same afternoon.
