CHANCE.

Despite the maxims taught ua in childhood, chance is an important factor in human affairs. A man's success or failure may depend upon his happening to be in a particular place at a particular moment, or in catching a certain train or in missing it. Some people will lead this paragraph, others will not. Those who do read it will acquire information which others will be without. Life is a tragedy of circumstances.
