Although bidding was a little slack good business was done before the end of the day The principal sales were as under:--Sheep.- Heavy-weight fat .-wcs 225: woolly lambs 9s to 10s 0d ; good shorn lambs 8s to 8s 10d ; cull lambs 4s 6d to 5s 3d; f.m. ewes 7s -Id to 10s: s.m. ewes 14s to 15s 3d ; cull 2-tooth 8s 8d Cattle. Empty cows £4 7s 3d; 3-year-old ' steers £6 7s tki; forward store cows £4 lSs to LT> Is": lightweight fat cows £6 4s to £<> 0s : springing heifers £6: hulls £4 lls to £5.
