A sensation was caused in ChristcliurcK yesterday when it became known tiiaf a. Methodist minister had been arrested on a charge of wilfully exposing liimeelf in the public gardens. To n policeman he said he was the Rev. William George Maslin, and that he was in Christchurch to attend the Methodist Conference. Maslin was brought before the Magistrate's Court tnis afternoon and elected to be dealt with summarily dealt with. Counsel for accused stated that he had a perfectly feasible explanation for his actions. He was remanded till Saturday morning on bail, self in £200 ancT sureties ot £100 eaoh.
