WOMEN DOING MEN'S WORK
London, Feb 20.
A neutral correspondent writing to the Times says that the prevalent opinion m Munich is that the war will last a long time. The people are preparing towards this end, and many women are taking up oifiue work, while others are engaged clearing snow from the streets.
There is little demonstration of a warlike, spirit among the people. The artistic life of the city continues as "n the past, and it is the same all over Germany. The museums and galleries are open, and are everywhere filled by wounded soldiers. The opera proceeds as usual, and the winter repertoire has been announced. -
