Palmerstoii — 7.18 a.m., 12.13 p.m., 2.2 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 5.0 p.m. Saturdays only 9.30 p.m. Shannon.—B.lß a.m., 1.30 p.m., 2.43 p.m., 4.12 p.m., 6.6 p.m. Saturdays only 10.34 p.m. Levin—B.49 a.m., 2.12 p.m., 36, p.m., 4.36 p.m., 6 42 p.m., 11.30. Ofeaki—9.32 a.m., 3.50 p.m., 3.42 p.m., 5.6. p.m., 7.43 p.m., Saturdays only 1.15 a.m. Paekakariki. —10.39 a.m. 4.55 p.m., 4.27 p.m. 5.50 p.m. 8.55 p.m. Saturdays only 2.30 a.m. Wellington.— 12.14. p.m., 8.5 p.m 5.50 p.m., 7.8 p.m. 10.45 p.m., Saturdays only 4. 25 a.m. Some of the above trains will stop at intermediate stations, suck as Tokomaru, Ohiiu, Alanakau, Ae Horo, etc.. but tdiere are some which do not. Residents should acquaint themselves witb the trains which do stop at their parI ticular stations.

The Auckland express leaves Thorn don at 1.10 p.m., and reaches Palmer ston at 4.18 p.m.
The Second Auckland express leave.I'almerston at 3.1 a.m. and arrives at Wellington at 6.26 a.m. The second Auckland .Express le*ve.Wellington at 9.10 p.m. and arrviee at Palmers ton at 12.16 a.m. - previously mentioned, there *U'< several wayside st*atioiis< at which oni or more of the above trains will stop whenever passengers desire to be taken down or set up. Local residents laj ascertain which are the trains which cater fur their towns, and may thei. work out the time which the train wili take to travel from the station 'no mediately preceding. IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS.
From Ist December an express train stops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who g" orth by this train will have to pav the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the oxpress stops at. At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express dli stop at Levin to pick up passenger* but as no tickets are issued for eithei of these trains at Levm, passengers must pay the guards. Passengers b> this early morning train going south | will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to Wellington.
