Elsie Cumins, the five-year-old daughter of a Mangoihe settler, near Pipiriki, yesterday picked up a detonator use'd in cuiijunction with explosives for bTasEing stumps. The detonator exploded and blew the child's right hand otf, and blinded her both eyes. She is now in the Taihape hospital.
