' Local residents laj ascertain which are the trains which cater for their towns, and may thei. work out the time whioh the train will take to travel from the station 'm mediately preceding. IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. From Ist December an express trail• stops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. t< take up passengers, but those who go orth by this train will have to pay the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the oxpress stops at. At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express 'ili atop at Levin to pick up paesengert but as no tickets are issued for eithei of these trains at Levin, paesenger.'inust pay the guards. Passengers oa this early morning train going south will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to Wellington.
