Palnerston — 7.18 a.m., J'2.13 p.m., 2.2 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 5.0 p.m. Saturdays only 9.30 p.m. Shannon.—B.lß a.m., 1.30 p.m., 2.43 p.m., 4.12 p.m., 6.6 p.m. Saturdays only 10.34\p.m. Levin.—B.49 a.m., 2.12 p.m., 36, p.m., 4.36 p.m., 6 42 p.m., 11.30. Otaki.—9.32 a.m., 3.50 p.m., 3.42 p.m., 5.6. p.m., 7.43 p.m., Saturdays only 1.15 a.m. Paekakariki.—lo.39 a.m. 4.55 p.m., 4.27 p.m. 5.50 p.m. 8.55 p.m. Satardays only 2.30 a.m. Wellington. — 12.14. p.m., 8.5 p.m 5.5J p.m., 7.8 p.m. 10.45 p.m., Saturdays only 4. 25 a.m. Some of the above trains will stop at intermediate stations, suck as Tokon.aru, Ohau, Manakau, le Horo, etc.. but there are some which do not. Residents shomld acquaint themselves with the trains which do stop at their particular stations. FROM WELLINGTON. Thorndon.— 8.20 a.m., 9.8 a.m., a.m., 4.13 p m*. Paekakariki.-0.40 a.m., 9.43 a.m , 10,2 i) a.m., 11.27 a.m., 6.58 p.m. Otaki—7.so a.m. 10.25 a.ni., il ll a.m., 12.47 p.m., 6.53 p.m. L ev j n ._B.so a.m.,, 10.55 a.m., 11.41 a.m., 1.29 p.m., 7.36 p.m. Shannon.—9.3o a.m., 11.18 a.m. 32.3 p.m., 2.4 p.m. 8.6. p.m. Palmerston (arrive). —10.40 a.m., 11.59 a.m., 12.41 p.m., 3.10 p.m., 5.0 p.m , The Auckland express reaches Va\merston from the North at 11.28 a.m. an darrives at Thorndon at 2. 50 p.m. The Auckland express leavee Thorndon at 1.10 p.m., and reaches Palmerston at 4.18 p.m. The Second Auckland express leaves Palmerston at. 3.1 a.m. and arrives at Wellington at 6.26 a.m. The second Auckland Express leaves Wellington at 9.10 p.m. and arrviee ai Palmerston at 12.16 a.m. As previously mentioned, there an several wayside stations at which on< or more of the above trains will stoj whenever passengers, desire to be takei down or set up. Local residents iaj ascertain which are the trains whicl cater for their towns, and may thei work out the time which the train «vil take to travel from the station 'in mediately preceding.
IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS
From Ist December an express train stops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passeugers, but those who go orth by this train will have to pay the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the express stops at.
At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express 'ill stop at Levin to pick up passengert but as no tickets are issued for eithei of these trains at Levin, passengersmust pay the guards. Passengers Dj this early morning train going south will have to pay the full fare from Palniertson North to Wellington.
