Canadian, supply running short, wliit? and coloured, 89s to 925; New Zealand white and coloured 86s to 88s. A quantity of United States cheese is on the market at 84s to 86s: Australian cheese continues to arrive, but the Essex cargo is not available. Hemp.—Market firm. Tt advanced suddenly owing to'the difficulty regarding tonnage. Light shipments of hemp arc expected from Penang; New Zealand, fair grade £29; failcurrent Manila £35; forward shipment New Zealand £31 10s, fair grade £29 Ms, fair current Manila £35. Out put irom M.anila for the week w;is 28\00() bales. Wool.—Market strong. N\ heat.—Market vei-v erratic during file last week : prices fluctuate from 62s to 655.
