DRUIDS' CONFERENCE.
Feilding, This Day. The DruitLs' Conference is sitting iters, ami the delegates were officially welcomed by the Mayor, Air A. M. Ungiey last night. The conference is presided over by the Grand President, Mr Alt' Thompson- Last night was mostly devoted to the president's address and the discussion thereon, and the balance-sheet. The Government aotuaries' report for the period ended 11)11 allowed that Tlio order had made slight progress 'i its value, which stood at 17s 2d per Tiead at that time. The president's address .said that many Druids had gone to the front aikl owing to such a large number going the jieuv insurance scheme was greatly endangered. Tiie executive had linaily decided to unload ;the greater portion of the liability by reinsurance. The Order at the end of last year had 9871 financial members. Tlio gain for the year the in sick and funeral fund was £33U0 and in tha Insurance fund
