a class-firing course was gone through on the Gladstone-road" range last Saturday by the Levin Defence liifle Club. Commencing next Saturday the club will fire a series of four matches in handicap competition or prizes donated by Riflemen "J. Munro and Alex Dean. A medal for the best aggregate shooting at, three ranges (200, 500 and 600 yards; one score at each range) has been given .by Rifleman P. Jones, and is to be decided on the shooting in this series. The opening match will be fired at 200 yards and •500 yards; seven shots and a sighting shot at each distance. The ensuing competitions will be 300 yds and 500 yds; 500 yds and 600 yds; 200 yds and 700 yds.' The best aggregates compiled in ninth rec of the four competitions will be the winning totals. - WANTED KNOWN.
