* [By our Resident Representative.] A quiet little wedding took place at .Shannon on Tuesday when Miss Lilian Alice Maud Foster was married to Mr Clifford Patrick O'Regan at the residence of the bride's parents. The eeremcaiy was performed by the Rev bather Cronin. Mr Delaney acted as bridesmaid and Mr W. Moynihan ae beet man. The bride was given awa-y by her father. r The palo on Sunday night broke:large pane of glass in one of the Windows oi M.rs Curran's shops in Plimmer Terrace. BOWLING AND TENNIS. The gloomy afternoon of Wednesday did not prevent the bowlore and tennis players from mastering in strong force. The games for the Bowling ■Club's championship medals "were continued. Col man and Bii't'te (skip) beat Palmer and Galland (skip) by 25 to 10. 'riensman and Roach (skip) defeated Venn and Voysey (skip) by 13 ta 13. On tho tennis courts many friendly games were played. Miss Laurvig played two games with Miss Dunckiey and each won a game. Mrs fftephenson and Mrs Laurvig provided afternoon tea. ~~
