* [By our Resident Representative.] A quiet little wedding took place at .Shannon on Tuesday when Miss Lilian Alice Maud Foster was married to Mr Clifford Patrick O'Regan at the residence of the bride's parents. The gloomy afternoon of Wednesday did not prevent the bowlore and tennis players from mastering in strong force. The games for the Bowling ■Club's championship medals "were continued. Col man and Bii't'te (skip) beat Palmer and Galland (skip) by 25 to 10. 'riensman and Roach (skip) defeated Venn and Voysey (skip) by 13 ta 13. On tho tennis courts many friendly games were played. Miss Laurvig played two games with Miss Dunckiey and each won a game. Mrs fftephenson and Mrs Laurvig provided afternoon tea. ~~
