As previously mentioned, there anseveral wayside stations at which on< or more of the above trains will stop whenever passengers desire to be taker; down or set up. ' Looal residents ia\ ascertain which are the trains whicl cater for their towns, and may then work out the time which the train wiii take to travel from the station 'in mediately preceding. IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. From Ist December an express trai stops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. take up passengers, but those who orth by this train will have to pay the full fare from Wellington to what ever place north of Levin that the jxpress stops at. At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express 'ili stop at Levin to pick up passengers but as no tickets are issued for eitho: of these trains at Levin, passengri - must pay the guards. Passengers ov this early morning train going south will have to pay the full fare from Paluiertson North to Wellington.
