On Wednesday Mr A. Sohie, farmer, Weraroa, met with a serious accident. He fell off a load of hay and broke his arm.
Ainon gthe Greadier Guards recently wounded is private H. Barter,, who s stated to T>e the tallest man in the British Army. He stands 6ft 9in in his stockings. Private Barter, who received a bullet in the shoulder, is tho eon of a South Devon farmer.
