L'Bj our Resident Representative.] The bowling tournament for the Shannon Club's medals for lhu pairs tournament is still running its course On Saturday afternoon Messrs Hensinan and Roach (skip) made 23, playing against Rev .O. Palmer and Mr Galland (skip), who wade 20. An interesting event will take place at the Methodist Church on Wednesday nest—the • marriage of Miss ~vy Hook to Mr Robert C. Collins. As both parties to the nuptial contract are well known and highly respected residents a morn than usual importance attaches to the wedding. A great improvement is being effected by tho raising of the level of the roadnay in Plimmor Terrace, near the Albion Hotel. Tho work when completed will be a boon to all using this well-known thoroughfare.
