There has not been a large quantity of wheat offering this week, harvesting operations fully engaging the attention of farmers. A number of sales have, however, been made. The bulk of the business line been done at 6s 3d and os 4d at country stations, and a few sales have taken place at 6s (id, but tho condition in these cases has been immediate delivery from handy stations. ' Oats are selling freely at 3s Id to 3s 3d, though offerings are not large. Malting barley commands a ready sale up to 5s 6d for prime quality. Oatonehcaf chaff is very scarce as tli<? new crop is not yet .fil for shipment. Holders are firm and neither new ior old can be obtained under £4 15s .it country stations.
