THE LOCAL TIiJLE-TAJiLE. The particular figures likely to be of benefit to dwellers between Pae-kaka-riki and Paluvarston North are what the readers of the Horowhenua Chronicle need most, and for our readers' convenience those fi,gures are now appended:—

Palir.erston— 7.18 a.m., 12.13 p.m., 2.2 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 5.0 p.m. Saturdays oiily 9.30 p.m. Shannon.—B.lß a.m., 1.30 p.m., 2.43 p.m., 4.12 p.m., 6.6 p.m. Saturdays only 10.34 p.m. Levin.—B.49 a.m., 2.12 p.m., 30, p.m., 4.36 p.m., (3.42 p.m., 11.30. Otaki.—9.32 a.m., 3.50 p.m., 3.42 p.m., 5.6. p.m., 7.43 p.m., Saturdays only 1.15 a.m. Paekakariki.—lo.39 a.m. 4.55 p.m., 4.27 p.m. 5.50 p.m. 8.55 p.m. S&t;u days only 2.30 a.m. Wellington.— 12.14. p.m., 8.5 p.m. 5.50 p.m., 7.8 p.m. 10.45 p.m.j Saturdays only 4. 25 a.m. Some of the above trains will stop at intermediate stations, suck as Tokomam, Ohau, Manakau, le Horo, etc. but there are some which do not. Residents should acquaint themselves witii the trains which do stop at their par ticular stations.

Thorndon.—B.2o a.m., y.B a.m., a.m., 4.13 p.m. Paekakariki.— 6.40 a.m., 9.43 a.m., 10/29 a.m., 11:27 a.m., 5.58 p.m. a.m. 10.25 a.m., il i! a.m., 12.47 p.m., 6.53 p.m. Levin.—B.so a.m., 10.55 a.m., 11.; i a.m., 1.29 p.m., 7.36 p.m. Shannon.—9.3o a.m., 11.18 a.m. 12 .j p.m., 2.4 p.m. 8.6. p.m. Palmerston (arrive).—lo.4o a.m., 11.59 a.m., 12.41 p.m., 3.10 p.m., ->.u p.m. The Auckland express reaches P^i merston from the North at 11.'28 a.nj an darrivee at Thorndon at 2. 50 p.m The Auckland express leaves Thorndon at 1.10 p.m., and reaches Palmerston at 4.18 p.m. The Second Auckland express leaves Pahnerston at 3.1 a.m. and arrives ai Wellington at 6.26 a.m. The second Auckland Express leaver Wellington at $.10 p.m. and arrvies at Palnierston at 12.16 a.m. J As previously mentioned, there are several wayside stations at which one or more of the above trains will stop whenever passengers desire to be taken down or set up. Local residents ia> ascertain which are the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out the time which the train will take to travel from the station 'n> mediately preceding. IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. From Ist December an express trail, stops at Leviu daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who gu orth by this train will have to pa.v the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the express stops at. At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express 'ill stop at Levin to pick up passengers but as no tickets are issued for either of these trains at Levin, passengpis must pay the guards. Passengers oy this early morning train going south will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North k> Wellington.
