Roe's liorse Improve was second in the Telephone Hack Handicap. The .Summer Handicap (1 mile) at the "Wellington Racing Club's concluding day was won by Pavlova, with Ogier second and Sauei 3. Emperador pub up a record for the course by covering the six furlongs in i.12 4-5.
