? The Levin Bowling Club's green was a scene of animation yesterday. Two teams ol bowlers, one a Druids' team, and the other from the Palmerston Club, came down from Palmerston N., to try conclusions with, the local bowlers. In the forenoon two matches were played, and two in the afternoon with the 'following result.— Forenoon.—Palmerston Druids <le-l'.-ated Levin Druids (Jamieson, skip) 17—l(i. Levin Club (Pyke, skip) defeated Palmerston Club 20—18. Afternoon.— Levin Club (Pyke, skip) defeated' Palmerston Druids 19—17. Levin Druids drew with Palmerston Club 20—20. Tlio last game was unfinished. There was one head to go when rain put a '• stop to the play. '
