THE EXPORT OF HIDES.
A deputation of ■ Mas ten- Tanners pointed out to, the Minister of Customs that since tho war there had been a great increase in the exportation of hides to unallied countries. Apart from defence, it urged that unices the • export was restricted there would soon be a local shortage. The Hon. .F. Tudor is considering the position.
