CLEARING SALE. Messrs Abraham and \\ illianis, Ltd. report having held a most successful clearing sale of diairy tows for Mr J.J. , Moore on Wednesday last. The cattle came forward in excellent condition, and being an old-establisjied herd of choice sorts, bidding tor the various hits was most animated and competi- -- tiou right throughout was particularly keen. Prices ranged from £8 2s 6d, £9 ss, £10 10s. £11. £11 12s Gd. £12 10s, to as high as £15, while the whole herd of 31 cows made the particularly good average of £10 5s 6d. Other quotations: Yearling to 15-month heifers > £5 7s, £5 9s, weaner heifers £2 10s. Holstein bull £7; unbroken halfdraught gelding £18. Milk cans, sundries, etc., all made good prices.
