Despite all the and attention bestowed on me oy lh« hospital doctors and nurses, 1 gradually grow woise, the doctors having diagnosed my 'complaint as Bright'* disease. The doctors gave me up as incurabl". and gave me but a few weeks ' longer to live. 1 ; was then taken from the hospital to my home to die (as my friend:- thought), as my father did not wish me to die in the hospital. But 1 nad a feeling within myself that there was hope whilst there wafe life, and, unlike my friends, 1 did not give up in despair.
