Tlie young women of tlie Aletliodisi Church, Levin, held their Guild meeting on Monday niglit, at the Parsonage. The minister spoke a few words of welcome, after which the programme for the evening was opened by Mrs Vincent, who played a pianoforte ,solo. Miss Sutherland and Miss Faith Willson gave a recitation. Another piano solo was rendered by Miss Ada Bennett. The evening was taken up mainly with business. A constitution was drawn up, and a syllabus prepared for the winter session of the guild. It was decided to meet fortnightly, instead of monthly as in. the past. Arrangements were made for a public "social," to be held in the Century Hall on June Bth.
