OTAKI STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, Wellington, report:—At (uir Otaki sale on Tuesday we offered large yardiiigs of both sheep and cattle to a «big attendance of the public. All classes of sheep were keenly sought after, and we quittd all lines under the hammr with the exception of one pen of f.f.m. ewes. Cattle met with rather a dragging sale, but we disposed of the bulk of our entry. We quote the following prices:--
Sheep.- 4 and 6-tooth wethers 1o 1.9s 7(1; fat wethers to 21s 9d; fat and forward ewes 15s, 17s 3d to 17s sd: empty cull ewes 6e 9d: 2, 4, 6-tooth and f.f.m. ewes 14s •'ld to 17s 7d: lambs 7s fid, Its Id U) Us 4d, cull lambs 4s to fis 7d. Cattle.- Yearling steers ''£2 fis l<l, £2 15s 6d, £2 19s fid; weaners £\, £1 7s fid, £1. 9s 6d: yearling, heifers to £2 10s fid: 18nionths heifers .£'s 10s: 2-vear heifers £5, £5 3s, £6 fis; s£ore cows to £4; cows in milk to £7: horses to £13.
