THE LOCAL TIME TA£LE. Sarching through a railway timetable makes moat people irritable. The railway table, like the polony, contains many good things, but the public prefer to have the one particular food Sw/ (whether mental or alhnentarv) desired on a given occasion, not hotchpotch of figures concerning • the branch line of Toko, the side track at Waggonville, or the cross lino to Nevermarch. The Auckland express reachei Palmersiton from the North, at 12.40 p.m., and arrives at Thorndon at 4.7 p.m. The Auckland express leaves Thorndon at 12.16 . p.m. and reaches Palmereton. at ; 3.35 p.m The extra Auckland 1 express commenced let October.
