THE LOCAL TIME TABLE
Smelling through a railway timetable makes most people irritable. The railway table, like the polony, contains many good things, but the public prefer to have the one particular food (whether mental or alimentary desired on a given occasion, not a %i r hotchpotch of figures concerning the branch line of Toko, the side track at Waggonville, or the cross line to Nevermarch. The particular figures likely to be of benefit to dwellers between Paekakarikj, and Palmerstou North are what readers of The Horowhenua Chronicle need most, and for our readers' convenience those fispivß are now appended :—

The Auckland express reachei Palmerston from the North, At 12.40 p.m., and arrives at Thorndon at 4.7 p.m. The Auckland express leaves Thorndon at 12.16 p.m. and reaches Palmerston at 3.35 p.m The extra Auckland express commenced Ist October.
