The train which is to convey the local Territorials to the Takapau ( amp will leave Levin station at 2..15 a.m. to-morrow (Sundaj') morning. On Sunday evening, m the Levin Presbyterian Church, the Rev. A. C. Randerson, M.A. will lake for the subject of his sermon■ "Breaking the Fallow Ground." Mr Mottershead will sing the sacred solo "If with all your Hearts." Levin Bowling Club was to have concluded its season this afternoon but owing to the wetness of the weather the games were postponed for a week. The occasion is to be made a social one, and the public is invited to attend and partake of afternoon tea. Through an oversight in this office the name of the officer in charge of the 54 Company Senior Cadet camp recently held at Ohau and reported in the Chronicle on Thursday was left out. The officer in charge was Lieutenant O'Donohue, the officer (ommanding the Company. A farewell "At Home," with Mrs Hector McDonald as the chief guest, was given by Mrs Sidney Hall yesterday, in Levin. There was a large gathering of friends, and a pleasant time was passed in social intercourse, competition, and musical interludes. The winners of the competitions were Mesriames A. C. iSanderson and 11. 11. Cork, respectively.
