School Football.
The annual meeting of the win tei* section of the Levin District High School Sports Club took place ou Wednesday, April 22n ' Mr Harding presided over a record attendance of 40. The bal-ance-sheet showed a baHr-ce mj hand of lis fid, with one bi/ia 11 bill to come in. The subject of changing the winter game to hookey was discussed, but ultimately _ a resolution in favour of '-on-inning at Rugby was carried by a large majority. Officers were elected as follows: Captain, M. Metntyiv: vice-captain, E. Clark; so -ivtary and treasurer, Mr Hardiiy; executive, the above officers with the addition of Mr-Mills. Ihe sul - acription was fixed at Is. Writs 6f thanks were earned by acclamation" to the Horowhenua Rugby Union, for a donation of a fr.otball: and to Mr A. Dempsov, frr various small repairs do le grat's*. Arrangements were made for pulling the football ground 11 order.
